Tourism Min. Meets Jeremy Jauncey to Promote Egypt

CAIRO, Jan. 22 (SEE) - Tourism Minister Rania El Mashat discussed with Founder & CEO of Beautiful Destinations Company Jeremy Jauncey, who is visiting Egypt for the first time, means of cooperation to implement aspects of the international promotional campaign for Egypt.

The meeting touched on creating a new promotional and marketing content for the tourist destinations in Egypt and publishing it on Beautiful Destinations' social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, and Weibo.

During the meeting, Mashat pointed out that modernizing mechanisms of tourism promotion is an important axis about the Tourism Ministry's structural reform program, adding that the new promotional campaign aims at presenting more modern image about Egypt.

The minister underscored that the promotional campaign is based on three axes, firstly "P2P – People to People" campaign, the promotional campaign for the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) in 2020, and promotion for each tourist destination "Branding by Destination."

"The ministry is looking forward to opening new markets in Asia, Latin America, and the United States," she noted.

Meanwhile, Jauncey said that his company's marketing content doesn't depend on the images only but it is accompanied by a story about tourist destinations that needs promotion, a matter which attracts millions of his followers to see and visit them.

The meeting was also attended by some of the company's officials who explained that the tourists' interest differed and the traditional ways became meaningless for them. They pointed out that the company has a long history in the promotion and creating trade brands in several countries worldwide.
