Tourism Deputy: Cyprus, Ireland to Re-operate Flights to Egypt

CAIRO, Sept. 29 (SEE)- Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the House of Representatives Sahar Talaat Mustafa said on Sunday that Cypriot and Irish counterparts signed two agreements for the return of flights to Egypt during the upcoming period.

This comes during a seminar held by the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies titled "Freeing Egyptian Airspace: A Lost Opportunity or Waste of Resources."

Mustafa added that deputies will review both agreements in the new parliamentary session.

She pointed out that the Parliamentary Committee visited the President of Ireland Michael Higgins last week in Dublin.

She added that Higgins congratulated Egypt on the discovery of the Tanis archeological site in Sharqiya governorate, and stressed that importance of these discoveries to the whole world.
