Terror Attack Survivor: Pray for Me, My Daughter [Video]

WELLINGTON, Mar.13 (SEE)- In a video clip released on Saturday,  Jordanian Wassim AlSati, who was wounded in Friday's terror attack, asked his friends to pray for him and his daughter while receiving treatment at a hospital in New Zealand.

AlSati was lying on a hospital bed, barely being able to talk. "I apologize for not being able to receive calls nor text messages," he said, adding that he is so exhausted, asking his friends to pray for him and his daughter.

The survivor posted the video to reassure his friends about his condition, thanking his friends for their solidarity and support.

He was shot four times, two in his back, one in the stomach and another in his foot, while his daughter was shot three times.

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry announced today that the number of Jordanian victims in the terror attack rose to four after one of the injured recently died. The ministry added that seven others were among the injured.

Saudi Mohsen al-Muzaini died of his wounds in Friday's shooting, raising the death toll to 50.

The Egyptian Ministry of Immigration also announced that four Egyptians were killed by Australian terrorist Brenton Tarrant.

Al-Azhar announced in an official statement that the perpetrator of New Zealand's attack is no different than ISIS terrorists.

On its part, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said an Iraqi was hit by a bullet in the spine and he is in a stable condition after ongoing an operation.

The General Delegation of Palestine to Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific strongly condemns the terrorist attack, indicating that at least one Palestinian was killed and others wounded.

The terrorist visited Turkey twice in 2016 and and made another visit to Pakistan in October 2018.

Far-right Italy's Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini commented on the attack by saying that the only extremism that deserves attention is the Islamic one.

In addition, Australian Senator Fraser Anning was egged following his controversial comments, blaming the Muslim immigration, in the wake of the terror attack.

Today, a 27 years old Muslim man was attacked outside a London mosque with a hammer by three men, who shouted Islamophobic accusations.

Meanwhile, New Zealand's Prime Minster Jacinda Ardern visited the Muslim community at the Canterbury Refugee Centre in Christchurch, wishing them her deepest condolences.

Several solidarity events were organized in the Arab world, and in other European countries.
