Telling Experiences, Offering Suggestions.. Egyptian Education Experts Gather in Hurghada

CAIRO, Dec. 17 (SEE) - Innovation is the secret of success and basis of excellence. Those with sincere efforts, striving for excellence reach their goals easily, but also transcend to wider areas of success.

These traits are what education works to bring to students in schools and universities. That’s why the Minister of Immigration Nabila Makram called upon sharing success stories during a conference, due to open in hours, in Hurghada.

Among the participants in the conference "Egypt can - through education" is Dr. Rashik El Maraghi, founder and CEO of Safi Quality Software, leading in field since 33 years, and he is the author of the idea to apply software in the development of education.

He had BA in engineering from Cairo University, received a master's degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada, and PhD in civil engineering and construction from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Quebec, Canada, for his research work in solving the interoperability problems facing the construction industry.

He was elected a fellow of the CSCE – Canadian Civil Engineering Association in recognition of his excellence in engineering and effective contribution to the advancement of engineering in Canada.

Among the other participants in the conference is Amal Farah, an educational expert, writer, poet, literary consultant, and journalist. She received her BA in Arabic Language from Cairo University in 1999, and studied the qualifying courses for Master's degree in Arabic Language Department.

She works as an educational expert at Afaq Knowledge Company in the United Arab Emirates. She has written a number of curricula, including: The Rose curriculum for teaching Arabic, which was adopted by the United Arab Emirates for kindergartens.

She authored many books, including: “Different and Very Ordinary”, “Happy Endings”, “I want to be a Turtle”, and “The Answer is Egypt”.

She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Arabic-language publications of Disney, as well as the National Geographic Youth magazine.

She was the Managing Editor of eight children's magazines and columnist in the weekly children's magazine Alaa Al-Din, the children's newspaper “Boys and Girls” and a weekly edition of ‘Akhbar Al-Youm’ newspaper

She wrote several songs, including the children's television series "Bakkar" songs (6 parts), "Yala Pena" (let’s go) songs, 3 parts, the children's television series "Khayal Elzell” (the Shadow) and other children's songs in "World of Sesame".

She has also authored several scenarios, including "Al Hassan Bin Al Haytham" and "The Mission" and "Amo Yassin".

The Gothenburg Children's Book Museum has dedicated a special section to her books, and UNESCO has selected the text "Strange Engravings" as the best Arabic text to be implemented.

Among other participants is Dr. Ahmed Shaker, professor of civil engineering at the University of Ryerson, Canada, and an expert at remote sensing and analysis of data on laser scanners on airplanes.

He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering - Cairo University in 1993 and ranked among the top students. He specialized in defining the links of satellite channels to the Earth's surface and the recording and analysis of satellite image da

He is currently vice-president of the Department of Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ryerson Vice-President of the Canadian Society for Remote Sensing and Vice-Chairman of the Commission on Remote Sensing of the World Organization of Aeronautics and Remote Sensing.

He worked in the private sector for three years in several projects, including the subway project in its early stages.
