Cairo - Sep. 3rd (SEE): According a study conducted by "Scientific Reports" , the blue light that's emitted by screens causes damage to your eyes. The Study claims that the light emitted by smartphones and computers can accelerate blindness.

The study explains, Blue light increases our chances of becoming blind because the molecules in our eyes can become toxic. The researchers found that the blue light transforms molecules in the eyes into a poison that kills cells. The exposure to blue light damages your cornea and lens, meaning your eyes cannot block or reflect it.

However, there are some steps you can take. One step is to use glasses that can filter out UV and blue light to try and combat some of that exposure.
