Last minute preparations are underway at Frogmore Cottage, in Windsor, Uk as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is expecting to have their first child birth in days.

A recent report by British "Mirror" revealed that The Duchess of Sussex is considering home birth over the Lido Wing where Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middelton delivered all three of her children.

Friends have revealed that heavily pregnant Meghan Markle , 37, could instead follow in the Queen's footsteps by giving birth at her new home, Frogmore Cottage .

the Queen was born at her grandparent's home in Mayfair and gave birth to all four of her children at either Buckingham Palace or Clarence House.

Friends have said Meghan has not completely ruled out a hospital delivery in the event of premature birth, an epidural or caesarean.

Morover, the Duchess has reportedly appointed her own delivery team to oversee the birth of her first child. Meghan has broken from royal tradition by not appointing the Royal Household gynaecologists because she does not want "the men in suits" to supervise the birth, The Mail on reported. The paper said she, instead, has appointed an "unnamed female doctor" to lead the team instead of Alan Farthing and Guy Thorpe-Beeston.

The two gynaecologists attended at the arrival of all three of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children, it adds.

However, it is understood that there will definitely be a role for the Queen's doctors in the birth, but it might not be a prominent one.

A royal source reportedly said: "Meghan said she doesn't want the men in suits. She was adamant that she wanted her own people. It did leave a few of us a little baffled.

Meanwhile, Meghan's mum is flying over from LA to be by her side as she prepares to have her first child.

But sources say yoga teacher Doria Ragland, 62, is unable to stretch out her stay – as she has to go home to look after her dogs.

Earlier, Meghan and Harry reportedly enjoyed a £33,000 three-night 'babymoon' before becoming parents.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are believed to have stayed at the £10,000-a-night Long Room of Heckfield Place country house in Hampshire.

A friend of the Duchess said Harry wanted to treat Meghan to a break before their baby is born, reports The Sun .

The mini-break reportedly included romantic walks, cosy fire-lit dinners and luxurious pampering at the posh hotel retreat.
