CAIRO, Nov 13 (SEE)- Microsoft will release its LTE version of 10-inch Surface Go tablet later this month. It will be available in US, Canada and 21 other countries by November 22nd.
The LTE tablet will costs $679 for consumers and it includes 128GB of storage, 8GB RAM and the same 4415Y processor as the other models will costs $130 more than the equivalent, top end WiFi version. Buyers will need to buy a keyboard separately as the tablet ships without a type cover.
LTE connectivity will be provided by carriers including AT&T, Verizon, SoftBank, KDDI, EE UK, Vodafone UK, and Sprint.
''Microsoft CFO Amy Hood'' announced at the company’s recent earnings report that Surface revenue in the Q1 fiscal 2019 quarter has been driven by Surface Book 2 and Surface Go sales. Microsoft’s 10-inch Surface Go is largely seen as a small version of the Surface Pro, and it’s helped push the company’s hybrid PC concept to lower price points.
