Madonna Louise, the renowned American singer known as the "Queen of Pop", had a smart ploy to defend Palestinian rights.

Louise used the Palestinian flag during the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.

While she was singing her song “Future" with Quavo, an American rapper and singer,  two of the dancers showed up while putting both the Palestinian and Israeli  flags on their backs.

This behavior that took place on Saturday evening led to a chorus of Israeli criticisms.

The Israeli Culture Minister Miri Regev denounced this show saying, “displaying the Palestinian flag  was a mistake”.

On the other hand, the European Broadcasting Union and Israel's public broadcaster KAN stated that the flag wasn’t a part of the song’s previous rehearsals.

It's remarkable that Louise declared last week that she was heading to Israel to defend human rights.

She added, “ it breaks my heart to see constant violence kills innocent people in the region”.

This underlines the fact that the American singer exerted an intentional and sincere effort for the sake of peace establishment between the two sides.
