Kane has missed out on his side in recent matches after suffering an ankle injury during Manchester City's Champions League quarter-final. The English striker returned to training in the past few days in preparation for the Champions League final.

Liverpool reached the final of the tournament after beating Barcelona 4-3 in the total of their combined home and away matches, while Tottenham rebounded against Ajax after suffering a single goal in their first leg, before beating the dutch side with 3 goals to 2 on their home turf Amsterdam.
