British monarchy announced that the Royal Household is on the hunt for a new member, this time a Digital Communications Officer.

A huge retinue of worker bees are working to keep the whole UK royal operation afloat. Queen Elizabeth's staff include liverymen, butlers, grooms, secretaries, art handlers and - the top dog - the Keeper of the Privy Purse.

According to the Royal Household’s website, the successful candidate could expect to earn £30,000 a year, depending on experience.

In addition, there would be a generous 33 days paid holiday, and the successful candidate will be based at Buckingham Palace from Monday to Friday.

According to British ‘ Mirror’, the Royal Family are increasingly using social media to share and communicate with their public, and the Queen is not getting left behind in this digital revolution. In fact, it's even rumored she has a private Facebook.

The job ad points out: "It's finding new ways to maintain The Queen's presence in the public eye and on the world stage."

"Whether you're covering a state visit, award ceremony or royal engagement, you'll make sure our digital channels consistently spark interest and reach a range of audiences.

"With an eye to the future, you'll help hone and shape our digital communications through analytics, monitoring and exploring new technologies," the ad said.

The ad read: The Royal Household are looking for someone who's degree educated and has experience of website management. You'll have an "innovative and creative flair" too, a "flexible approach" and top-notch communication skills.

The closing date is 26 May so dust off the CV and polish off you cover letter.
