SEE-August29th: Most of people all around the world can't start their day without a steamy cup of coffee no matter which form it takes. This includes Espresso, cappuccino, Frappuccino, latte or café au lait.

Here are some interesting and funny facts every coffee addict will enjoy reading:

1-Beethoven's coffee consisted of  60 beans per cup; the German composer used to count the number of coffee beans he uses to make his coffee.

2- Turkish bridegrooms have to make a vow during the wedding to always make sure to provide their wives with coffee. If they did not do so, it was considered grounds for a porce.

 

3- Coffee contains over 1200 chemicals and over half of those are responsible for creating its flavor.

4- USA, France and Germany consume 65% of the world's coffee.

5- In 1670, the first American Dorothy Jones got his license as a coffee trader.

6-In 1674 a number of women created a group called WPAC (Women's Petition Against Coffee) in London because they got mad at their husbands for spending long times in coffee shops instead of being home.

7- Average American spends more than $1000 on coffee per year.

8- Brazil, during 1932 couldn't afford sending its athletes to the Olympics in Los Angeles, so they loaded their ship with coffee and sold it along the way.

9- 70 cups of coffee can kill a 150-pound person.

10- Stress and sleep deprivation can be reduced by only inhaling coffee's aroma.

11- Next time when you want your coffee to stay warm 20% longer, add some cream.

12- Espresso comes from Italian which means  “expressed” or “forced out”. Espresso is made by forcing very hot water under high pressure through finely ground, compacted coffee.

13- Most coffee farmers have never tasted their own coffee.

14- The  American and French Revolution began in coffee houses.

15- People drink nearly 500 billion cups of coffee per year and half of them are at breakfast.
