Ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, Egyptians living abroad have launched “Our Iftar with Relatives” initiative for the second year in a row to keep a link with their homeland, Egypt.

The initiative is being organized in cooperation with ministry of immigration and "Misr El-Kheir" philanthropy foundation.

In this context, Egypt's Minister of Immigration and Expatriate Affairs Nabila Makram thanked Egyptians abroad who are going to participate in this initiative this year in order to keep their intimate relationship with Egyptians.

On her part, Amal Mabdi, the head of the resource development sector at “Misr El-Kheir” dedicated 2 bank accounts for expatriates’ contributions; one of them in dollars and the other is in Egyptian pounds.

Egyptian Gulf Bank receives voluntary contributions in dollars via an account number 0236008120003.

For contributions in EGP, donors can pay for the National Bank of Abu Dhabi through an account number 50950271027.
