For Small Homes..Mini Gardens Still Possible

CAIRO, Jan. 20 (SEE)- Gardens are not limited to villas and wide homes, as even if you own a small one with no extra space or balconies, you can acquire a charming mini garden, by following one of the coming inspiring ideas.

The entrance

The home entrance could be totally converted to a small catchy garden that attracts your guests’ attention, and makes you feel the warmth while having your first steps inside.

Just devote a few centimeters for a floor made of white gravel, which mostly used in gardens, then scatter small plant pots with different sizes on its top.

To obtain a nice harmony, you can add on the top of the garden wall, some mosaic tiles with contrasting colors.

As a final step, don’t forget to surround the garden by wooden paths to make walking much easier.

Vertical garden

All what you need is choosing one of the internal walls, then fill it with plants and flowers; by hanging their pots in an intensive and vertical way.

Climbing plants could be the best choice here, as they grow fast and bring a real touch of nature to any place.

Also, mirrors could have a magical effect in expanding this awesome greenery.

Finally this single “plant wall” will be sufficient enough to make you feel as if you are entering one of the most admirable forests.

Corner Garden

Choose a relaxing and cozy corner where you prefer to spend most of your time, and just glamorize it with a mini garden.

According to the space available, bring a wooden table and 2 colorful small chairs, then scatter some small plant pots and flower vases above the table and on the floor, and thus enjoy your new joyful corner.

Lighting

Your home mini gardens eventually need special and non traditional lighting techniques, so that their beauty could be obviously appeared in the evening.

Indirect lights are most preferred, hence you can use wall lighting units, or scatter some lamps that reflect shapes when turned on.

Candles could also bring a unique charm for romantic times spent around the internal gardens.
