Google Celebrates 87th Birth Anniversary of "Hind Rostom''

CAIRO, Nov 12 (SEE)- Search engine Google is celebrated the 87th birth anniversary of Egyptian artist Hind Rostam, was born on November 12, 1931. She was of Circassian origin and produced more than 74 films through her career.

Rostom became known one of Egypt's best artists in 1950s and 1960s and made a significant number of films in the memory of Egyptian cinema. She was Marilyn Monroe East and Queen of Temptation.

The artist won popular acclaim for her 1958 film "Cairo Station'', about the city's underclass and their struggles to survive. She starred in it with Youssef Chahine, one of Egypt's most lauded movie directors.

In 1949, she appeared in ''Ghazal Al-Banat '' movie with Najib Rihani and Lili Murad and Yusuf Wahbi. Her latest work was published in "My life of punishment" movie in 1979.
