The Official Trailer

The movie, which is a sequel to Godzilla 2014, is the third entry in the MonsterVerse, following its 2017 film Kong: Skull Island.

Also, Brighburn, an American horror movie, will hit theaters on May 24, 2109, a week before releasing King of the Monsters.

"The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species - thought to be mere myths - rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance," the official description according to Rotten Tomatoes, an American review-aggregation website.

The cast also includes Charles Dance, Vera Farmiga, Bradley Whitford, O'Shea Jackson Jr, Kyle Chandler, Ziyi Zhang, Thomas Middleditch, David Strathairn, and Ken Watanabe.
