Egypt's Amb. delivers speech in Indonesian conference

JAKARTA, AUG 31 (SEE)- Egypt's Ambassador to Indonesia Amr Moawad delivered a speech at a conference organized by the Indonesian Foreign Ministry under the title "Cooperation between Indonesia and the Middle East: Opportunities and Challenges" at the University of Gadjah Mada in Jakarta.

Arabic speaking students,  as well as Indonesian officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, were among the attendees.

Moawad referred to the historical relations between the two countries since the independence of Indonesia and the importance of deepening bonds of friendship and fruitful cooperation in all fields, whether religious, cultural, economic or political.

He pointed out to the major national projects in Egypt, including the economic zone of the Suez Canal, Ain Sukhna, east Port Said and the importance of benefiting from these projects in increasing the rates of investment and trade between the two countries in the upcoming future.
