Egyptian House in London Hosts Ramadan Iftar

The Egyptian House in London in cooperation with the local Church in the White City held an iftar party for Muslims and non-Muslims of the district.

Chairman of the Egyptian House in London, Mostafa Ragab, told SEE: “the local council gave permission to use speakers, tables, and chairs in the public road and the sound of al-Naqshabandi was heard for the first time in the city”.

The event started one hour before the iftar with speeches given by the Egyptian House Mosque imam Sheikh Ali Hassan and Father Richard of the local Church.

Also present were Member of the European Parliament Murad Qureshi, and Member of Parliament for Ealing, Acton and Sherphred Bush Andy Slaughter, Labor Party.

A presentation of the Month of Ramadan to the non-Muslims was also made.“The attendees praised the idea and asked for more,” Ragab concluded.
