JAKARTA, AUG 18 (SEE) Egypt's ambassador to Indonesia, Amr Moawad participated on Saturday in a celebration held at the Indonesian presidential palace on the occasion of the 73rd Indonesian Independence Day.
Moawad affirmed Egypt's keenness to build on the historical relations between the two countries and deepen the bonds of friendship and cooperation in all fields.
The ambassador conveyed to the Indonesian president, Joko Widodo and vice president the congratulations of the Egyptians, government, and people on the occasion of the national holiday, wishing the continued prosperity and progress of Indonesia.
