CAIRO, Nov. 30 (SEE)- Egyptian House of Representatives regretted on Friday Italy's early prediction over investigation into the murder of Italian student Giulio Regeni.

The House stressed adherence to the rule of law and rejected interference in the work of investigative authorities. "Unilateral actions do not achieve the interests of both countries to uncover the truth and access to justice," The house said in a statement.

Speaker of the Italian House of Representatives Roberto Fico referred to the suspension of relations with Egyptian counterpart until the completion of investigations.

On the other hand, the Egyptian parliament asserted the historic relations between the two countries at all levels. It expressed deep regrets towards Fico's statements, notably after the joint conference held between the Egyptian Public Prosecution and the Italian Attorney General, which confirmed the proceeding of investigations in a collaborative manner.

The Egyptian parliament affirmed its adherence to the rule of law, ensuring impartial investigations and the non-politicization of the case.

Since the incident took place on Egyptian territory, Speaker of the Egyptian House Ali Abdel Aal confirmed the country's substantial interest in disclosing the case.
