The tournament is scheduled to be held from the 21st of June to the 19th of July; the committee is currently planning a monumental opening ceremony that will go down as one of the best in history. Countless World and Arab leaders will be invited to the opening ceremony most prominently Russian President Vladimir Putin, in addition to 24 African presidents.

The opening ceremony will also feature appearances from countless prominent and well known media and sports stars. The tournament came in the same time President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi assumed the chairmanship of the African Union.

The tournament matches are scheduled to take place at the Cairo Stadium, El-Salam Stadium, Air Defense Stadium, Ismailia Stadium, Alexandria Stadium and Suez Stadium. The stadiums are almost done and will be handed to the organizing committee weeks before the prestigious tournament sets off.
