Launching the Egypt Government Excellence Award 2018 aims to encourage both persons and institutions to be distinguished in order to attain the goals of Egypt Vision 2030, the Egyptian Minister of Planning Hala El Saeed said.
Addressing Egypt Government Excellence Conference on Tuesday, Saeed said the award is launched under the sponsorship of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
She said the conference is a key stride towards realizing economic, social and environmental development under Egypt Vision 2030, which was launched in February 2016.
The minister said the government is keen on improving governmental services, particularly through mechanizing services.
She said the government is implementing a comprehensive reform plan, referring to updating laws.
The first edition of the conference represents the first step towards implementing a memo inked between Egypt and the UAE on developing governmental work, she noted.
