Chicken and Wheat soup is super healthy and suitable for those who are on diet as it’s rich in protein and fiber.
In few minutes, here’s how to prepare this square meal.
½ cup wheat
2 chopped garlic cloves
1 large-sized diced carrot
2 poached and diced chicken breast
1 chopped onion
3 tbsp olive oil
4 cups chicken broth
1 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Soak wheat in water for 2 hours, then cover it with water and heat till it’s done.
Remove excess water from poached wheat and set aside.
Preheat olive oil in a pot, then add onion, garlic and mix them for 2 minutes.
After that, add carrot and set for 2 other minutes.
Add chicken broth, wheat, cilantro, salt and black pepper, then let all components boil for 20 minutes.
Add some chopped green cilantro on its top and your yummy soup is now ready to be presented with toast and salad.
