TOKYO, Feb. 19(SEE)- Cryptocurrencies continued their gains for the second day in a row on Tuesday, as the digital asset market witnessed a strong rebound led by the big five, with the Bitcoin exceeding $ 4,000.
Digital assets are witnessing a growth with $ 14 billion gains in less than 24 hours.
The total market value of all cryptocurrencies rose to $ 136.11 billion against $ 122.4 billion dollars a day earlier.
Digital currency EOS led the market value’s strong profits, continuing the course of gains that began yesterday.
The assets reported the highest level since the beginning of the bearish market trend of 2018.
The Bitcoin was estimated today at $ 4012.6 with 5.1 percent increase and an overall market value of $ 70.41 billion, staying in the lead of other coins.
In the second place, Ethereum gained 3.6 percent to record $149.29 with a market value of $ 15.66 billion, while the ripple also rose by 8.1 percent estimated at $ 0.3405.
Although it remained in fourth place with a market capitalization of $ 3.34 billion, the EOS was the biggest gainer of all digital assets with 15.8 percent of earnings.
Bitcoin competes for the fifth place with the Litecoin, rising 10.6 percent to record $ 148.9 with a market capitalization of $ 2.62 billion, however it still remains below the LTC.
