CAIRO, Nov. 26 (SEE)- The Banking Institute of the Central Bank of Egypt, in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Cairo, is organizing a seminar entitled “Japan and the Global Economy - Lessons and Implications from Experience of BOJ's Challenges.”
Japanese Professor Saiyori Shirai, a professor at Kyo University, will give a lecture to review the Japanese monetary policy and the challenges Japan faces in managing its debts as well as lessons for Egypt to consider.
Shirai is also a former member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Japan (BOJ) and a former IMF expert who has written many books on economics and monetary policy.
The lecture will be held next Wednesday, November 28 at the Institute’s headquarters from 5:00 pm to 7.30 pm.
