The chairman lauded efforts exerted by the National Electoral Commission jointly with Egypt’s armed forces and police to facilitate the process.

Over 61 million Egyptians are registered for eligible voting.

Locally, 10,878 polling stations opened their doors today at 9:00 a.m. for Egyptians to cast their ballots. There are also 13,919 sub-committees nationwide.
