After Church, Mosque's Inauguration, UCE Opens its Doors in Administrative Capital

CAIRO, Jan. 8 (SEE)-After the biggest cathedral and mosque’s official inauguration, another significant entity opened its doors in the administrative capital: The University of Canada in Egypt (UCE).

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has declared that the presidential decree no. “9” for the year “2019” aimed at welcoming the opening of a branch of Prince Edward Island University in the Administrative Capital.

This new branch will contribute to enhancing the Higher Education and Scientific Research system in Egypt, while preserving students’ national identities.

Also, the new branch is going to provide professional programs as the ones provided in the university’s headquarter, besides devoting annual free-of-charge or discounted scholarships for excellent students in some fields like, science, mathematics and social participation.

In the same context, the ”UCE” will allow bachelor degrees in, Sustainable Design Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science and Entrepreneurship fields, in addition to enabling the launching of joint programs with different Canadian universities worldwide.
