CAIRO, Feb .17. (SEE) –Cupra’s new concept SUV will be unveiled via an online stream at the end of the month and will likely be the official debut of the ''Cupra Terramar'' concept which is due to morph into a production model by 2020.
The all new ''Cupra Terramar'' will be a coupe version of the ''SEAT'' Ateca mid size SUV, taking some of its styling cues from the newer Tarraco flagship. It’ll be seen first as a hot Cupra badged model in 2020, while a more conventional SEAT version of the car could follow within two years.
"Cupra Terramar" looks set to be powered by a same 296bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine propitious to a Ateca, and it will also underline four wheel expostulate and a dual clutch involuntary transmission. The customary ''SEAT'' indication is expected to be offering with a same operation of petrol and diesel engines as a ''Tarraco''.
The name ‘'Terramar'’ pays reverence to one of Spain’s oldest engine racing venues, a Autodromo de Sitges Terramar is a former racing circuit in a Catalonia region.
