Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to Mariam Almheiri, the UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment, who is currently visiting Ukraine to support the "peace formula" promoted by Kyiv.

"We are interested in your country's support for our formula for peace," Zelenskyy said during his meeting with the UAE minister.

The Ukrainian president added in a statement that environmental issues were another topic of negotiations, and he thanked the UAE for its willingness to provide assistance to Kyiv.

The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly referred to the "peace formula" they had prepared, but in return rejected the proposals of third parties for peace.

As Zelenskyy said, commenting on the Vatican's settlement initiatives, that his country does not need mediators.

As for Russia, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova considered that the so-called Zelenskyy peace plan is "another American evidence for provoking conflict in Europe."

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also pointed out that Zelenskyy's statements about a peace settlement do not take into account existing realities.
