Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit the White House on Friday to sign a rare earths deal, U.S. President Donald Trump said.
A source close to the Ukrainian government told Axios that the U.S. and Ukrainian sides agreed to complete the minerals deal on Tuesday after two weeks of tense negotiations.
The deal seeks to allow the United States to tap some of Ukraine’s vast mineral wealth and spur post-war development in the country.
