Zamalek officials are determined to sign Petrojet player Hamed Hamdan during the winter transfer window, following a tripartite agreement between Zamalek, Petrojet, and the player for Hamdan to join the club in January.
Zamalek had agreed with Petrojet last summer to sign Hamdan in January for 20 million Egyptian pounds, aiming to bolster their squad with the Palestinian player. Zamalek remains committed to the deal, especially given Al Ahly's interest in Hamdan and their entry into the negotiations.
Zamalek is in constant contact with Hamdan's agent, Samir El-Hawy, to finalize the transfer. El-Hawy revealed that while Al Ahly has not yet made official contact, there have been verbal inquiries regarding the player.
A source within Al Ahly confirmed that negotiations are still ongoing and that contact with the player is a preliminary step to gauge his interest should formal and serious negotiations with Petrojet commence.
