Zamalek demand postponement of Toungit's clash

Zamalek interim committee filed a request to the Confederation of the African Football (CAF) to postpone the White Knights clash in the CAF Champions League 2nd fixture in the Group Stage against Toungit, to be played on Wednesday instead of Tuesday.

The match will take place on Tuesday at 18:00 CLT.

In statements, Essam Salem, the spokesman of the Whites said that Zamalek demanded to postpone the game due the an emergency circumstance, happened to the delegation during their journey to Senegal.

Salem said that the reason for the White Knight's request came after the delay of  Zamalek's plane because of Mauritania's decision to close the airspace. 

It is worth mentioning that the Zamalek held a goalless draw against MC Alger in the first round.
