Zamalek defeats Al-Ahly in the professional handball playoff

The Zamalek club's men's handball team defeated its Al-Ahly counterpart with a score of 29/25 in the second play-off final match of the 2023/2024 local season, at Hassan Mostafa Hall in 6th of October City, to be resorted to a playoff match. The deciding match will be held on May 24, with Al-Ahly winning the first match with a score of 26/25.

The security meeting for the Playoff Final of the Professional Handball League between Al-Ahly and Zamalek resulted in the attendance of 50 individuals from each club, 25 individuals from each board of directors of both clubs, 50 individuals from the game federation, 45 individuals from the national teams committee, and 15 media personnel.

The matches will witness the application of penalty kicks in the event of a tie in the professional, professional, women’s and junior women’s competitions in 2006.
