Hany Zada, a member of Zamalek SC Board of Directors, has filed a judicial appeal before the Administrative Court of the State Council, in which he demanded the cancellation of the decision issued to suspend and exclude the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club.
The appeal was filed against the Minister of Youth and Sports and the Executive Director of the Ministry, according to several reports.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports referred Sunday the financial irregularities stated in the report submitted by the committee that examined the files of Zamalek Club and the violations it contained to the Public Prosecution.
The Ministry also decided to suspend and exclude the Zamalek Club Board of Directors, the Executive Director and the Financial Director from managing the club’s affairs on a temporary basis, until the conclusion of the Public Prosecution investigations, or until the legal period prescribed by law for the Board of Directors expires, whichever is earlier.
It also assigned the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Giza as the competent authority to overlook Zamalek Club alongside forming a temporary committee to manage the club's affairs.
