Zamalek's board of directors, headed by Mortada Mansour, blasted the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) after what happened with Ahmed Mortada Mansour.

The EFA's Normalization Committee banned the member of Zamalek’s board of director Ahmed Mortada Mansour from attending EFA’s General Assembly (GA) meeting.

"As a continuation of Zamalek's fans series and in an incident, which happens for the first time. The EFA's Normalization Committee member of Zamalek's board of director Ahmed Mortada Mansour from attending the EFA's General Assembly meeting to discuss the regulation of the new football season, despite having an official mandate to attend the event," Zamalek said in a statement.

The statement described what happened as a clear intransigence against the White Knights.

It also said that banning Mansour was instigated by the President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee Hisham Hatab and EFA's chairman Amr El-Ganinny.

Zamalek confirmed that this situation would not pass unnoticed, especially in light of the deliberate provocations that the club and their fans are exposed to from the EFA and the Olympic Committee.
