Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is not interested in achieving a peaceful settlement to the conflict in Ukraine.
In a press sonference, Zakharova added, that NATO's promises to continue providing military support to Ukraine indicate the alliance's desire to prolong the fighting.
In response to Western criticism of Russia regarding the special military operation in Ukraine, the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry said, "There is no value for any Western talk about values and respect for laws. NATO's actions in the past and at the present time prove that the alliance is not only defensive in nature."
