Veteran Egyptian actor Youssef Chaban has been transferred on Tuesday to the hospital after testing positive for coronavirus.
A source close to Chaban revealed that he is set to be transferred to a new one, especially since his condition appears to be unstable and needs medical intervention.
The actor's medical report is due to appear in the coming hours.
According to World Health Organization (WHO), the novel coronavirus infected over 111 million people and killed 2,470 others worldwide since it emerged in China in 2019.
In March 2020, WHO declared coronavirus a global pandemic as the new virus has rapidly spread to more than 800,000 people from Asia to the Middle East, Europe and the United States.
Transmission of viruses between humans happens when someone comes into contact with an infected person’s secretions, such as droplets in a cough.
They can also be transmitted by coming into contact with something an infected person has touched and then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes.
It is known that older people appear to be more vulnerable to the effects of the emerging virus.
