"Sincerity, Trust and Ambition," three words summarizing the character of the Egyptian people, especially the expatriates. This was applied to Captain Mohamed Farouk, who has put those words in his mind 26 years ago as he lived in Malta and England.

In Egypt, the name of Liverpool is associated with the Egyptian player Mohamed Salah while the name of "Mamos" in the streets of Liverpool, is associated with Captain Farouk.

Mamos is a fast food restaurant chain specializing in burgers, pizza and chicken.

26 years ago, Farouk was a football player for Al-Mokawloon Sports Club in Alexandria before heading to be a professional cook in Malta.

His chain of restaurants in Liverpool consists of 3 places. He has been preparing for the opening of the fourth branch.

Farouk said that he spent 10 years in Malta and then 16 years in Liverpool, where his project embraces ambitious workers from different nationalities.

"The Egyptians are known to be able to excel, diligence and sincerity," Farouk said in exclusive remarks to SEENews, setting an example for the professional Egyptian player Mohamed Salah.

In his footsteps, his son Yassin was a professional player in Liverpool FC and became a top scorer for the team, although he was still studying in the primary classes in English schools.
