Yasmina Issa, the Egyptian badminton player "Barra Badminton", won the gold medal at the Brazilian International Championships.

The Egyptian-American doubles defeated the Taiwanese doubles 2-0, and the results of the rounds were as follows: "21-17, 21-16".
The Egyptian-American doubles defeated Hong Kong doubles 2-0 in the semi-finals, with the results of the rounds as follows: "21-8, 21-7".
