The name of the place combined the old function of the building with its new one to be named "Shelter Art Space."

Built in 1928, the building was constructed by a Greek architect, and it was used as a shelter for residents during world war II to escape the air raids.

It became an art space last year. It also became one of the active spots for hosting exhibitions, music performances, workshops, and talks.

Moreover, it managed to attract young artists to display their artworks.
