Early Tuesday, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H announced a new WWE World Heavyweight Championship
The champion will be crowned on May 27 at the Night of Champions premium live event in Jedda, Saudi Arabia.
The title will be in action along with the undisputed WWE universal championship currently held by Roman Reigns.
The new title will land in the non-world-titled brand after the WWE draft.
Since WrestleMania 38, Roman Reigns is holding both WWE Universal, and WWE titles, and he defended those titles for more than 7 times.
Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, Matt Riddle, Goldberg, Kevin Owens, and Drew McIntyre were among those who challenged Reigns for the title.
