The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the selection of a spokeswoman created by artificial intelligence named Victoria Shi, who will be responsible for delivering official statements issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry said it would use “for the first time in history” a digital speaker based on artificial intelligence to read its data, which would still be written by humans.
According to the Foreign Ministry's press office, the statements that Victoria will make will not be issued by artificial intelligence, but rather "written and verified by real people."
To avoid forgery, the data will be accompanied by a QR code that links it to the text versions on the ministry’s website
