The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed the quick spread of the new Coronavirus in the US. The country witnessed more than a million new cases during the last week.
The Assistant of WHO branch in the US, Yarbas Barbarossa, said that the new cases are increasing rapidly in the US; more than million cases infected with the Coronavirus were recorded during the past week only.
Barbarossa added that the US, last week, recorded about 1.5 million injuries and 19 thousand new deaths due to the pandemic.
It's noteworthy that the US is the first country in the world in terms of the number of infections with 11.37 million cases, also the first in terms of the death toll with 249,000 deaths.
