The White House (WH) announced that US President Joe Biden will begin today, Tuesday, a tour that includes the United Kingdom (UK) and Ireland, and the tour will continue until next Friday.

The WH stated - according to the American "Al-Hurra" channel - that "US President Joe Biden is expected to visit Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the signing of the "Good Friday" agreement, which ended the confrontation between British forces and Irish revolutionaries demanding secession from the Kingdom. United States, after the termination of the US President of Northern Ireland, will go to the independent country of Southern Ireland.

The channel indicated that Biden intends to go, tomorrow evening, Wednesday, to the Irish capital, Dublin, where he will deliver a speech to its parliament.

The "Good Friday" Agreement, also known as the "Belfast Agreement", dating back to 1998, ended the civil war between Protestants who supported union with Britain and Catholics who supported reunification with the Republic of Ireland.
