A report published by the World Bank's electronic platform added that public health taxes applied to cigarettes reduce pressure on the health system and increase the productivity of the population.
According to the report, the work on public health taxes comes within the framework of the global tax program as a multifaceted initiative that combines the knowledge and experience of many global practice sectors.
