Aboulseoud offers this time a recipe for the salad of watercress and fig.
Ingredients
Tbsp of red onion, cut into small pieces
1/4 cup of olive oil
Tbsp of balsamic vinegar
Tbsp of lemon juice
Tbsp of white honey
Salt and Pepper
Directions
Cut the figs in half and mix them with the ingredients. Leave them for half an hour.
Remove the figs from the dressing and place them on a tray covered with parchment paper and sprinkle brown sugar on it.
Set the tray in a 200-degree oven for 12 minutes. The fig becomes caramelized.
To serve, arrange the watercress (200 grams) with the dressing and mix everything.
Place on top the caramelized figs with crumbled Roquefort cheese (you can replace it with feta cheese or goat cheese).
You can also add hand-crumbled walnut (optional).
Bon Appetit
