On Sunday, Gihane Abdel Menoim, veteran actress Soad Hosny's half sister, asserted that late-deprted legendary scripwriter Wahid Hamed was planning to write the script of a film about Hosny's life story.
She highlighted that the film would have shed light on the social and personal life of the departed actress.
Moreover, Abdel Menoim indicated that she contacted Hamed to write the cinema adaptation of her book about her sister's life and he agreed.
She continued that she is now confused regarding selecting a new scriptwriter of the film as the story has a lot of surprises.
Regarding her relationship with the departed actress, she revealed that Hosny was 15 years older than her, and the actress treated them kindly; she used to buy them gifts during celebrations.
On the other hand, the actress' half sister criticized the series that depicted Hosny's life, asserting that it discussed various wrong information about the actress' life.
However, this series was the main motive that drove her to write a new book about Hosny's life refuting the series' wrong depictions.
The legendary scriptwriter passed away at the age of 76 due to health problems.
The funeral of Hamed, who is widely considered to be one of Egypt’s iconic writers, was held after his body arrived at El-Shorta Mosque at the 6th of October city.
