A US military plane has accidentally damaged a helipad at British Cambridge hospital, forcing local emergency medical flights to be temporarily perted, according to international reports.
In this regard, the East Anglian and Magpas air ambulances have been rerouted and directed to nearby Cambridge City Airport while repairs take place.
In the same context, the hospital's helipad has temporarily closed after it was badly damaged by the draught from a departing aircraft.
According to a statement on Thursday by the spokeswoman of the hospital, he explained: "Patients are then transferred to the hospital in road ambulances with critical care staff on board, meaning we can continue to see and treat them as normal."
On the other hand, Major Keavy Rake, from the USAF 48th Fighter Wing said: "Our units are continuously coordinating with our domestic partners to improve operations."
"We are greatly appreciative of the relationship and coordination we have with the UK," Rake added.
It's worth mentioning that the plane crew had been taking part in medical transfer training.
Later on, the video of the incident was captured and published by various social media platforms.
