USA Today: Storms Threaten 65 Million People in 15 States

Millions of Americans are preparing to face violent thunderstorms in more than 15 states today, Friday, amid warnings of massive damage and the almost certain possibility of tornadoes.

USA Today, a US daily newspaper, said that more than 65 million people in at least 15 states, from Texas to Alabama in the south all the way north to Wisconsin and Michigan, are at risk of devastating storms. Hurricanes standing.

Major population centers most at risk from the storms include Memphis, Texas, Little Rock and Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Des Moines and Cedar Rapids with the worst. But residents in other areas of Illinois, Arkansas, and Missouri should also prepare to cope with the storms.

Meteorologists said people in those areas should stock up on emergency supplies, prepare for power outages, avoid parking in places subject to falling trees or extreme hail, and park vehicles in garages if possible.
