US President Joe Biden said he supports the African Union's entry into the Group of 20 (G20), noting that "we will continue to support Africa through international food organizations to reduce food shortages."
He added, during his speech to the American-African summit, that conflicts and climate change have exacerbated the threat of famine in the African continent.
Joe Biden added that the United States of America (USA) has the desire to work with Africa and will do so, and are ready to make the required effort.
Biden continued to say that his country will continue to cooperate with various countries in Africa to treat the problem of food shortages."
He concluded that Africa can provide food for all the world's population, and America continues to work with the African Union to provide support in the field of food inside Africa."
