Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (69 years) said that “the Jews and Chinese” are “the most immune” from the “Coronavirus".
“There is an argument that the purpose of developing the lethal virus was racial targeting,” Kennedy said, speaking at a dinner in New York City earlier this week, according to a video released by the New York Post on Saturday.
He added, “The (Coronavirus) targeted Caucasians and blacks, while the most immune people are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese.
But Kennedy went on to say that we do not know whether this targeting was deliberate or not.
Ashkenazi Jews have roots in Central and Eastern Europe, and they represent the majority of the Jewish population in the United States.
The American Jewish Committee told CNN in a statement on Saturday that "Kennedy's assertion that (Corona) is genetically designed to avoid Jews and Chinese is deeply offensive and extremely dangerous," and his remarks were considered "anti-Semitic."
